Blake Butler, MA, LMFT

Mr. Butler has been working in various helping professions for 10 plus years, first working with adolescents and then extending his care to adults, couples and families.
He received his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2010 and has been practicing as a marriage and family therapist since 2012. Mr. Butler works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families on a wide variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety, conflict, poor communication, intimacy struggles, parenting, depression, anger, and school/work performance.
Therapy sessions with Mr. Butler are conducted using Bowen Family Systems Theory, which utilizes both personal and relational information to highlight the most productive areas of therapeutic growth within your relationships and day to day life.
Prior to his transition into the mental health field, Mr. Butler worked as a commercial beekeeper for a well respected Texas honey company for over a decade. Starting this at a young age sparked his interest in working with family systems. He figured that if bees can get along with 30,000 family members in a tight space there has to be a way for us to do the same. Even though he no longer works in the beekeeping industry, he still has several personal hives of his own that he tends to on a regular basis.
