CYNTHIA HARR. PH.D., LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a licensed therapist with several years of practice experience, I come along side individuals, couples, and families as they seek to overcome life challenges. Goals of counseling may include assisting clients to develop relationship and problem solving skills, heal past and present hurts, and build hope and resilience. My areas of specialty include family therapy, interventions with children (including play therapy/parenting skills), couples therapy, and mental health counseling for issues such as depression and anxiety. After several years on the faculty of the Baylor University School of Social Work, I recently returned to private practice at the Center for Children and Families in Waco, Texas. Prior to coming to Baylor, I was an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University-Commerce and was a therapist at Life Builders Counseling Clinic in Mesquite, Texas. At both universities I taught graduate courses in Advanced Practice with Children and Families.
