TeleHealth

The Health Resources Services Administration defines telehealth as the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration. Technologies include videoconferencing, the internet, streaming media, and terrestrial and wireless communications.

Many of our therapist are glad to meet with you via TeleHealth/TeleMed option.  If for any reason you would like to meet with your therapist via the comfort of your home through utilizing this option please feel free to discuss this with your therapist.  You would simply schedule your appointment as usual.  At the time of your appointment visit the information/scheduling page for your therapist to find the link to enter their online waiting room.  Your therapist will join you at your appointment time by connecting with via TeleHealth/TeleMed.

To log in to your TeleHealth Session

Step 1: Sign into your patient portal  by clicking on Therapist/Schedule tab from menu bar and selecting your therapist.

Step 2: Once signed in, the patient portal dashboard provides details related to Telehealth Sessions.

Step 3: Clicking on "LAUNCH" will bring you to the waiting room (as seen below in steps 4 & 5)

Step 4: If you join the waiting before your provider has started the session on their end, you will see this page with the spinning progress circle:

Step 5: Once your provider joins the session, your page should refresh and show this:

Step 6: Click Join Session -- from there, the Zoom website used to launch the meeting should popup in a new tab, and the Zoom application will take over from there, allowing you to join the meeting.
