Helping Others Help Themselves

David Baker, LPC-S
Rooted in a Christian foundation, my work is centered on compassion and the belief that every person has the ability to move forward with confidence and purpose.
As Philippians 3:12–14 reminds us, we are called to press on “toward the mark” and continue growing in faith and purpose. With this foundation, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to help people move from thought and word to action, taking meaningful steps that lead to healing and lasting change.
I work with children (5+), teens, young adults, and couples who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, or difficult life transitions. I partner with each person as they navigate these struggles and discover new ways forward.
Whether I’m helping a child build confidence and resilience, supporting a teen through the pressures of adolescence, guiding a young adult in finding their path, or working with a couple as they strengthen their relationship, my goal is always the same—to offer hope, practical guidance, and a safe, supportive space where growth can take place.
